I am fascinated by the technology that brings NFT&#8217;s to life and enjoy exploring the future value of the metaverse.<\/p>\n<h3>What are you looking forward to at Women of Silicon Roundabout?<\/h3>\n<p>Meeting so many inspiring women in one place will be fantastic. It will be a great opportunity to learn from women who are leading the vision within these innovative companies and how women are overcoming the challenges that they are facing.<\/p>\n<h3>What advice would you give to someone looking to step up their career in tech?<\/h3>\n<p>Start today would be my biggest piece of advice. The world of tech is fast-paced and the doors are open for those that have the passion and drive to learn. Web3 is offering new ways for people to upskill and there is a demand for a broad range of expertise.<\/p>\n<h3>What do you see as the biggest challenge currently facing women in technology?<\/h3>\n<p>Being heard is always a challenge for women across all industries I think but I think this is changing. Also, employers need to be flexible to allow women to pursue the multiple roles they adopt in life. As a mother, wife, entrepreneur, creator, artist and writer I don&#8217;t like to be pigeonholed into one role.<\/p>\n<h3>The theme of the event is Resilience, what does resilience mean to you?<\/h3>\n<p>Resilience means not giving up if one door doesn&#8217;t open to the opportunity you thought was there. If we knock on enough doors the right one will open and give us the room we need to grow and showcase our many skills.<\/p>\n<h3>Finally, what can attendees expect from your session at Women of Silicon Roundabout?<\/h3>\n<p>For my session attendees will learn about the World of Web3 and the opportunities that NFT technology is offering brands and organisations. To date they have paved the way for brands like Gucci, Nike and others to reimagine their products and explore new ways of creating communities around their brands.
