Speaker Bio
Keiko Kimura, is a Software Engineering Team Director on the AI Solutions Alpha Engineering team within Aladdin Engineering at BlackRock. Aladdin is BlackRock’s tech platform that unifies the investment management process, leveraged internally by BlackRock and delivered to external clients. Alpha Engineering designs and builds the platforms that power systematic and fundamental alpha investment research solutions for BlackRocK and the Aladdin community.
Keiko began working at BlackRock in Active Equity where she was responsible for implementation research and risk modelling. Keiko then moved to the iShares Solutions team where she became responsible for portfolio construction for fund of ETFs and in-depth research on commodity and alternative products.
Keiko has a degree in English Language and Literature and a graduate degree in Econometrics.
Fun Fact: Keiko grew up in a small sleepy down in Japan and had never been to Tokyo until she was 18.
