Eileen Jennings-Brown, who as Chief Information Officer of Exscientia, a global AI-driven precision medicine company, designs the information technology (IT) strategy that provides the backbone of Exscientia’s work to bring better medicines to patients faster, its success in cutting drug discovery timelines, and the innovation of its 500-strong workforce. A respected IT industry leader with a background in IT engineering, Eileen brings more than 25 years of experience in the field, having held a breadth of IT roles across Europe, including as head of her own IT business, consultant at the Chartered Institute for IT, and Head of Technology for the Wellcome Trust; and infuses intent-based leadership and a passion for mentorship, diversity, and inclusion in her role, regularly advocating for women in STEM and serving as Executive Sponsor for Exscientia’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) employee resource group. She was voted into Computer Weekly’s Most Influential Women in UK Technology and was named one of Healthcare Technology Report’s Top 25 CTOs in Healthcare.
