Sarah joined Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE), as Senior Director of Risk for ICE Clear Europe in 2022. ICE Clear Europe is a one of the world’s most diverse and leading clearing houses, providing central counterparty clearing and risk management services for interest rate, equity index, agricultural and energy derivatives. In her role, Sarah is responsible for ensuring that mitigants are in place to ensure the clearing house is well positioned to manage the default and liquidation of open exposures. Prior to that, Sarah was responsible for overseeing clearing risk in Europe for Goldman Sachs. She holds an MA in Physical Natural Science from Cambridge University and an MSc in e-Science from Edinburgh, for which her thesis focused on developing distributed computing systems to better solve quantum physics problems.
