Orla is a Mechanical Engineer, with a PhD in Aeroacoustics. She has worked across a number of industries but has spent the majority of her career working in Tech, with 8 years at Google and 5 years at Meta. Her roles have spanned from pure analytical to strategic in nature and everything in between. Orla is currently the Senior Director of Products & Partnership Strategy for Flutter International, part of Flutter Entertainment . A new role for her since January and she joined at an incredibly interesting time – thinking about how to evolve and scale integration capabilities. She lives in Dublin, Ireland, is married to Dave and they have one large maine coon cat who rules the house. Besides enjoying the Tech world Orla is hugely passionate about fitness and trains 5 days a week. Her passion led her to become a board member of an NGO which provides free HIIT training sessions in 7 park locations around Dublin. Finally, her other skills include home renovations – this is Orla & Dave’s second project, just don’t ask if it's the ‘forever home’!
