Lilian is an award-winning Software Engineer at Accenture Next Gen Engineering, specialising in designing and building secure, scalable cloud-native full-stack web applications suited for solving business challenges more efficiently. She is enthusiastic about sharing not only the benefits of cloud technology with others but also the benefits of making security everyone’s responsibility, to inspire them to get involved in designing, building or testing sustainable tech solutions in the cloud. Outside of work, Lilian actively gives back to the community through mentoring career switchers mostly women from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, supporting them through the confidence-building, and self-promotion needed to excel in a tech career. As a role model, she inspires young girls to pursue STEM careers. She is also an award winner of, Women in Software Awards - PowerList by Makers in London for outstanding personal achievement within the software industry and acting as a role model for future generations. Fun Fact: Lilian has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and a master’s degree in Food Security with over 2 years of work experience before deciding to switch careers to tech and now spends some of her time supporting others through their career switch journey
