Julia McLernon is an Executive Director in Global Technology at JP Morgan in London.  She is the Head of Portfolio Governance and Execution Management in Corporate Technology, a  horizontal function responsible for providing program delivery expertise to large-scale, high risk initiatives, and establishing consistent, best-in-class approaches to portfolio governance and management.  Julia joined J.P. Morgan in Singapore in 2016 as the Asia Pacific Business Integration Lead for Cybersecurity.  She moved to New York in 2018 to create and lead the CIB Technology Strategic Program Delivery team for North America.  Julia and her family returned to London in 2022 after a decade away which also included 3 years in Hong Kong. 

Julia is passionate about DE&I having been involved in various Women in Technology efforts throughout her career.  She is currently the Sponsor for takeITforward (TIF) in London.  Previously, Julia co-led the Engagement Workstream of Women on the Move in Technology.  She spear-headed an internal initiative to encourage and train female technologists globally to speak at external conferences, as well as the creation of the annual WOTM in Tech Day which has now taken place three times. 

Outside of work, Julia is involved in Co-operation Ireland (COIRE), the leading peace-building charity across the island of Ireland, as an Ambassador for its Future Leaders Program.
