Emma is a Partner at international law firm Crowell & Moring within the Privacy and Cybersecurity team.  Her practice spans the globe focussing on technology, digital infrastructure and AI and the security of those networks and the data that flows over them both from a regulatory compliance perspective and the commercial transactions that underpin this sector.   She has worked in UK Government as a policy advisor in this sector and is Director and Counsel of the Interparliamentary Forum on Emerging Technologies, a not for profit that has built a global network of legislators focussed on the regulation of emerging technologies and she is a UNESCO Global Expert without Borders on AI regulation.  Emma spearheaded the investHER campaign that focussed on reversing legislation last year that disproportionately impacted female angel investors and founders.
