Q&A w/ Helen Hilton, Head of Resource and Capacity Development @ Cambridge University Press and Assessment

Firstly, please introduce yourself and tell us a little bit more about you and your career to date!

My name is Helen Hilton, I am a coach and enablement specialist working in the technology sector of publishing. I have a background in web editing, programme management and change and I have focussed increasingly on supporting people over the last few years of my career.

What are you looking forward to at Women of Silicon Roundabout?

I attended for the first time last year and left feeling inspired and full of ideas. I made important connections and got improvement ideas for myself and my organisation. Its a great opportunity to learn and to set your agenda for the next year.

What does the Leading the Digital Revolution theme mean to you?

We are all leaders in our own context. Its key that we keep in time with the constant shift that is now expected in the workplace. Worklife is becoming less certain and taking charge of it is a more proactive, positive approach to crafting our career.

What can attendees expect from your session?

A focus on the human 'power' skills that are needed for the modern technology professional. Its an opportunity to take some time to reflect and to look at personal development that can help you move forward.

What is your biggest prediction for 2025 for technology?

Well I have to say AI, but what I am more interested in is the skills that will prop up the transformation of the technology business such as change and product management, knowledge management, data and human computer interaction.

Register for your place to join Helen at this year's Women of Silicon Roundabout now and stay updated for more announcements on this year's speaker lineup and agenda.
